Hi all,

My youngest daughter (7), has been asking for a LM for awhile. She put it on her Christmas list, and is super excited!  So is Dad :tu:.  Ordered the blue Leap this am, which was $39ish. Well, to get the free shipping and free brewzer, the order has to be $50. They have 50%off, select tools, so, I grabbed the CS3 for $14.  Never really considered this tool at all, I almost always carry a Micra for scissors, and no split ring is definitely a minus for me.

  Either way, my daughter will be thrilled with her Leap, and maybe this will be 1 of many for her!

Very cool tool to get as a first LM :like: I got my little girl ones at about that same age :tu: She has a Micra a and several Vic Classics :cheers:

That's a slippery slope you're on. I got my daughter a leap couple years ago.
Last year she wanted a vic hiker and a dive knife.
Not sure what she wants this year . . . .

Sounds like she"ll also need some father/daughter time to acquaint herself with the tool.  I wonder which SAK she"ll want to pair it with :think:  :D

I think it’s awesome that these kids take a liking to something we are passionate about! I have 4 daughters, but this one, is the one wanting to go to the deer stand, or run the dog for birds. They all enjoy the outdoors, and to have them have a interest in a tool, that could potentially help them along the way,  pretty cool!
