Fake or not? Discontinued pouch?

Just when I still have been enjoying the intoxication caused by the purchase of a MP600 DET I came across a unicorn: My ultimate dream, the unobtainable (cost and availability issues), weird and unique Crunch...  :ahhh There it was, offered in its package, still unopened and at a price which made me drool into my shoes :drool: I even shamelessly tried to bargain but the dude would not bulge. Oh well, at least I tried.

Anyway. I read this post and compared the pics: https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,20717.msg388306.html#msg388306
While the tool does look original the logo on the pouch looked kinda peculiar to me. Doing a Google search showed me some sites selling that very pouch as an original, discontinued LM product. Though, I was not able to find any pouches with that same logo on LM's site, so I remain suspicious. The back side of the package looks original, too and does not have any typos etc.

What do you guys think?

While I cannot speak to whether or not that pouch was ever offered with the Crunch, it does indeed appear to be a legitimate logo.

This was a typical nylon pouch logo starting from at least the 90's and maybe before. I'm not sure when they abandoned this logo in favor of the yellow, but here is my "still in package" Original Super Tool, and it has the same logo. I have another Supertool with the same logo on pouch and my nephew's Super Tool 200 also has the same

Looks legit to me  :tu:   That is the old style logo they used to use on their Nylon pouches

Nice find on the crunch! Good luck on getting it! The earlier LM Crunch seems to be a bit higher quality than later one. Enjoy it!

Good thinking. Though, the app doesn't disclose this information. BUT this does not keep me from searching for the tool daily in case the buyer wants to sell it. I think I'm obsessed now...
