Is it a no-no to post a question here about a SAK's value?  I was thinking of selling it, but am not sure what is a fair price.  Anyway, no details until I find out if it isOK to post such a question, and where to post it.

You can also see what they are selling for on eBay to get a general idea, assuming your item is not unique.

Nice to see that you have the sensitivity to ask first, since some boards forbid this.  There is no rule that I'm aware of on MTO against this, and we see it from time to time. 

So I'd say, yes, let's see what you have and hopefully some experts can give you a rough idea of what it's worth.  One thing I will mention is that prices/values here on MTO tend to be much lower than the often-inflated values you might see for the same thing on eBay.  So if you go to eBay, get an idea of value, then come here and post it for sale for that price, your FS post might not get a lot of interest.

I think it’s okay to ask, but not to try to sell it here within this sub forum. Just list it in the buy/sell/trade areas afterwards.
