Much the same here. Hot and dry for a while. Last few days, a turn for the milder with a little welcome rain. :tu:

If you'd have said March, I'd thought you were over here. Dryest year in decades. Some dams are at 10% capacity. In some places, they had to use tank trucks to replenish dams enough to have water to supply cities.

On the other hand, it's been also extremelly cold (for our patterns). For some weeks, between 3º, 4º and 12º, 14º. That's about 5º or 6º bellow average.

We're in the middle of Summer, but it's not usually so dry this early. The real Summer is usually January/February.

Yeah. It's hard to know how our real summer will be but we've ordered a backup 25,000 litre water tank. North Otago can get very dry in summer.
