A little update to this project.

Replaced the awl with proper scissors.  :D






Next up, sourcing for a suitable tool to replace the package opener. Realise its not needed at all. The stubby blade works better than it.

Your mod on the crunch with scissors was brilliant. I would have given up if I found out there so much work on that scissors spring.. :like:

Yes. It's a scissors from a Suspension. Quite a bit of rework on the handles. Figured that's the smallest branded scissors around.

On an idle Easter Sunday during a hand-luggage-only trip to a capital not known for its tolerance for knives, without anything to fidget, my mind will start to roam.

I have a new suggestion for a name Sam. What about "Wavicle"? This, I believe, was a word coined to indicate the simultaneous wave and particle nature of some elementary building blocks of the matter we live in/on/as.

Cor blimey, have I got that philosophical already? Must be the beers...  :cheers:
