I wasn't happy with the blade shape on my Bund knife so with hiraethus' help I put a Sheepsfoot on it. Much more pleasing to the eye!

Looks great now - just need to find something suitable for a lanyard now.

Your knife got me thinking about one Noah left behind.  He has a Bund, but he took it with him.  This belonged to my father in law, who was also a sailor, and is a German Alpha.  I believe it is probably 1960's vintage at the latest.

If you want to practise being a U Boater Barry, get a heavy blanket, soak it in old stagnant water and then crawl underneath it and stay there for a month  :tu:

One of the great things about using Rough Riders for scrimshaw is that the knives are so inexpensive (about $10 - $12 each) that the artist can buy them, do the scrimshaw, sell them for a reasonable price, and still make some money on the deal.
