I'm in! Starting on the 01/01/18, with my Black oxide Spirit.
Spirit has been my EDC since I bought it on 2005 for $37 on Amazon.
So it's not difficult for me..

No love for the full size Swisstools toe heavy for pocket carry.

Any other restrictions? Can participants carry a secondary knife or is this a one tool only challenge? I believe the last Spirit challenge did allow dedicated knives so we didn't have to rely on the serrated butter blade for everything. I wouldn't have bothered though if I had the Spirit X with the straight edge blade.

I don't have an X yet.  Hoping to have an XBS after the December drawing.  Even if I do I will still cary a dedicated OHO for boxes etc...  This has always been how I have worked as I find box cutting not to be a propper function of a MT, so yes I am good with a secondary single blade folder.  Now as to the butter blade I realy like mine it's been MODDED and no longer has serations,  my pliers are also modded to be true needle nose.

Poncho always has to throw a wrench into a well oiled machine.  I guess we COULD START  :twak: on the 7th so he could make the full 30 days to gat a badge.  At least that way my wife won't be upset with me for taking MT photos the 6th.  It just happens to be our 22nd Wedding Aniversery and I might get in trouble if You guys get more attention than she dose.

As long as the blade is under 4 inches I think it is OK :think: I usually throw it in my carryon in my toiletry bag and go right through security :whistle: I must have an honest face :D I never take it off the boat though until coming home :salute: I am to fragile for jail in Mexico :ahhh :D

well seeing that I've been carrying either the Rebar or the Spirit 90% of the last 2 months, and they've done all the things I would use a SAK for, I suppose I'm in.



Can we use a folding knife (OHO single blade only) as a compliment to the tool?  :think:

Consume the MRE after the storage period and post pictures and descriptions of the contents. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Farmer X SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Leatherman Skeletool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of either an Axe, MT/Folding knife or Fixed blade (picked at the beginning of challenge) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Spyderco knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of a different blade each day for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a SAK Soldier for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Fieldmaster SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days.
