HELP! Looking for $5 tools for my Tool Challenge
on: December 20, 2017, 09:18:33 AM
Hi all,

Grant put me to task on a $5 Tool Challenge. You can watch the shenanigans I'm up to over on the Cheap and Cheerful boards.
https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,75094.0.html

The goal is to get 10 tools to test, all at or under $5. I've gotten 5 locally. I've got 2 on the way. I have one 'interesting' one. That leaves me two more I need. I could probably manage to get a Vic Classic for the $5 limit from ebay, but I'm wondering if any of you might care to help out? The $5 is all in, including shipping. So that's mostly going to restrict it to U.S. folks. But I'm sure some of you must have some half-way decent MTs you'd like to see included in a tool challenge. Old actual Swiss Army Knives that have maybe seen better days? Those SOG Toolclip knockoffs? Maybe a rattly old Gerber MP600? Something from that TSA multitool lot you got off ebay?  Any assistance is appreciated. And yeah, I know $5 barely covers shipping.

Grant didn't say I couldn't beg. :D

Payment via Paypal.

EDIT: What i already have: Generic SAK clones, a Generic Leatherman PST clone. Everything Walmart has to offer.

I think I have a Squirt knockoff that was less than 5$ here in Switzerland... if I can find it, I will send it to you.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Well, i think I'd actually need to pay for it. I'd be interested in seeing it, though. I also don't want you to pay international shipping rates on this. That's just crazy.

Also, thanks to gerleatherberman, I now only need ONE tool.  :salute:
