Thank you, alexanderre! The shop is geared towards antiques restoration, so the need for many small pieces and screws seems endless. :ahhh

Day 14

I have a hard time finding a good way of carrying the spirit, I have tried loose in the pocket (don't work with my new pants), pocket clip (almost worked but the clip was not quite right), original belt pouch (don't really like that either) so now it is horizontal elastic magcarrier for a couple of days.. So mail duty today

I have a belt buckle wallet and some problem with my back but I did try having it in the back pocket but it just tipped over and was uncomfortable, but if this elastic carrier won't work I might try sewing a slot in a pocket..

Where has this challenge gone?  A lot of running around today, but no uses so far. Everything here is covered in ice. The roads are a mess.

It's a long shot, but hey...
Quite difficult to date those cast iron base stools, but 1880s-1920s would be my best guess without examining the way the base and seat mount are cast. The long well-formed height screw places it around or after the industrial revolution. There are some reproductions, but I would bet that is an old one, because the base is fairly small  compared to the seat size.
Please show us what it looks like when the seat top is done!  :tu:

Day 14: Spirit didn't get any action today. Just did some yard work and raked leaves.

So G-Man, with your knowladge of antiques have you ever actualy churned butter?  There's little in this world better than fresh backed bread toasted with hand churned butter.  A true lost art.

Admittedly,  I have made churned butter, but used the electric motor assembly instead. Nearly identical to this one on ebay.

So much better than store butter. But, as much as I enjoyed it, the cleanup was an issue. :like:
Real milk is difficult to acquire in town as well.  :ahhh

Thanks and good eye.
This makes my 3rd Wera set.  Got my first one almost 2 years ago and love it.  IMO one would be hard pressed to find a better quality set of drivers.  But if not familiar with them the steal is carbon steal so keep them oiled and dry.  I actually WD40 my set in the case every couple of weeks so the case helps protect from undesired moisture.  I also have gained a love afair with Knipex Cobra and Pliars Wrenches and expect to be expanding my arsonal of them as well.  It would happen faster but now I have to pay the doctors.  My wife got this crud too, so I don't even want to think about the bills on the way.  Doctors sure love to bill you after they tell you not to work.  I guess they must think our money grows on trees and we work to have fun.

Good to hear that except for the bill of course..

I have a över 30 years old wera bit holder screwdriver with an orange handle.. The best I have ever laid my hands on, it is my father's old one, I don't ever think I will have to by another one and I paired it with a kamaza bitset
