I won't do it to my MTo Px but I have considered using a Dremel to cut a new nail nick on the back side of the scissors on my silver Px.  To me the scissors open backwards and it would be easier to get to.

If you check the main PX thread we discussed ways to open scissors, best way I have found is to slide thumb nail parallel to the nick(but at same level) from end of knife rather than the standard perpendicular plunge from above
