Day 2 is El (Corksrew) Fisherman for me...  because the Fisherman has always been a favorite of mine, this one never sees pocket time, and, of course, it's Four Layer Friday

How´s the fishing in the arid zone?

There are a few stocked lakes for fishing, some folks even fish in the canals (not me)

There are more nice rivers/streams as you head north... but around Phoenix it's pretty much just lake/boat fishing, unless you fancy fishing in the canal... I know there are plenty of canals in your zone, do people fish in them?
We are a country of waterways, and there are over 1 million fishing licences in a 17 million population. We fish everywhere, from small ditches to canals, rivers, lakes, and the sea. Most of our surface water is good enough to drink (when boiled).

I've seen first hand some of the magnificence of your wonderful country

Just had to check US stats

In 2017 we had 38 million fishing licenses out of 325 million citizens.  I think that means a greater percentage of Americans had fishing licenses  :pok:  :D

Neither am I. In fact, the power tools that I use are provided by my employer. In my own small garden I don´t need power tools, and I like the silence. When I worked in forestry a few years ago, power tools were not allowed by our client (The National Forest Service (Staatsbosbeheer)) because they would disturb the wildlife (fortunately the leaves were allowed to stay where they fell). Probably that was the best job I ever had, but these days the Forest Service doesn´t have enough money and most work is done by volunteers.

I did a lot of work in the woods with hand tools and i have to agree its a whole different experience, to hear the forest as it naturally sounds is quite something, a bit worrying in the dark though with all the squawks, hisses, growls and yelps, shine a torch around and there are a hundred lit up eyes watching you, they know you are there..

For a long time i have wanted a wall mounted display of wooden handled folding farmers/peasant knives from all round the world, i'm slowly working my way round Europe getting a couple of regional styles from each country, the Hunter is earmarked to represent Switzerland, that said if i ever give up i will let you know  :tu:

Eat this, Machete!

As promised, trying to carry 30 SAKs at once. On the belt are 24 SAKs in 12 pouches. Total weight is 3.565 kg, but it is not really uncomfortable because the weight is distributed evenly. This leaves 6 SAKs to be carried in the pocket, for this I chose 6 1-layer lightweight SAKs. Totally doable, but I´m not going out like this. Wouldn´t want to meet a police officer asking some awkward questions.

I've followed this thread since the beginning with interest. You folks are making it a very fun and entertaining multi-SAK trip to read.  :tu:
I was waiting for Ron's "all at once" carry attempt.

That belt pic made my day, especially imagining a LEO stopping you and asking about the pouches on your belt

My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

I don't have lots of SAKs, and only normally carried one of my two Syph customs.  However I now have the MTO PX, so that makes three I could rotate daily.  But I'll just watch the fun Grathr
