I've just been to collect a package.2 boxed Sideclips, and a Tool Adapter in the plastic case with leather sheath included.The Sideclips are the earlier unpolished ones, and both have the date code 0298 on am scales.Great find Gavin! ..
Looking at the Leatherman Production Timeline thread it seems Sideclip production began in 1998.So with the date code on these at 0298 it looks like I've picked up some very early ones.Does anybody know the earliest date code? Anyone got a 0198?

I asked them for lower shipping and they said they could not do it. It is a shame as I would have bought a few things from them.

The colors and texts are so much prettier than the boring yellow boxes they have nowadays. Those old boxes make a really big jump in price on secondary market between NOS vs NIB vs NWOB.
