SAKs and LEGO
on: January 11, 2018, 04:33:43 PM
I've seen many LEGO and SAK entries on this forum and no official thread, although I think some threads come close.
Anyone like this idea?
Hoping Medical Bill and others will make a cameo.

I'll start this off, D'oh!
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Thanks for starting the thread Lisa - My work is so busy at the moment it's difficult to spend time on photographs, but I did manage to snap a shot of First Watch this morning during cthoffee break. Medical Bill is mining the fluff from our out of date teacakes to sell to Second Watch as shaving foam.

Next, here's a group shot next to Der  'Alter Elektrischer Bauer des Kreuzes'

Just discovered that eneloop AA's fit in a alien/crystal transport tube, so I'm going to retcon those silly jelly aliens out of lego Mars Mission and replace them with eneloops.  8)

We came to mars to examine old alien tech found by the Mars 2020 rover. We're still working on the propulsion systems, but one of the things we've managed to reverse engineer is a new kind of energy storage device which has similar energy density to the old refined fossil fuels like kerosene. We've named these devices "eneloops" and have managed to make them in two sizes so far, and we're still trying to miniaturize them to the same size as the original ones we found. But for now they are incredibly important in powering buildings and large vehicles. For smaller vehicles we use solid state batteries shaped like crystals that developed from the battery race back on earth that a company called Tesla triggered.

Transporting a large size eneloop to an outpost station
(Never mind the jelly alien)

We got the wheelbarrow off gumtree - traded it for a bucket of shaving foam and an old torpedo.

Love that Mars stuff Pabs  :tu:

Great pic to start it off FB!

Great pics from Magentus and Pablo too!

I don't have any Legos, so I will just have to be a spectator, but this should be a fun thread to follow. :like: :tu: :tu:

Nice :tu: A mere decade ago I might have purloined my sons' Legos and joined in the pictorial frenzy. Alas, the Legos have long since been reconverted into cash, never to be seen again.
Cheers!

No problem, it's just that it's such a common error.
Imagine everyone saying sheeps instead of sheep.  :ahhh
Do you have irregular words like that in Dutch?

Not quite the same, where plural equals singular, as far as I'm aware this instant... irregular plural forms, yes (mostly imported nouns).
