Time for an update.
I'm putting the Selfie Lego guy in with my new hobby, Rubik's cube, remember those!?
Well, it seems I'm not intuitively solving this puzzle with its 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 combinations, but only one solution.
I'm going to keep at it though.  I have looked at the videos that show algorithms, but I still want to try on my own.

They are fun!  But, I had to finally give in and watch some YouTube videos on how to solve it.
I can now solve it in 9 minutes by memory, hoping to get under 5 minutes soon.

I'm happy to report that my time is under 7 minutes now with my new Speed Cube.  $75 dollars for that cube  , ($68 with coupon), but I can tell the difference with the twisting mechanism.
As a reference, the world record is under 5 seconds!  :o

I totally get that because at one point I didn't think my brain was going to grasp the 3D concept.
I found these videos helpful:

Cameron - known to his mates as Cam the camper (- everyone in Australia has nicknames !!)
- The driver of the campervan you saw earlier in this thread - has teamed up with his surfey-dude mate Brucey to head off on their travels.

The trip might not be quite as exciting as travelling to the moon or underwater in a submarine - But I'm sure they'll have some fun.

Watch this space to see their adventures unfold.

PS. Brucey, as you can see, also does not go anywhere without his trusty SAK     :tu:
