Alox Blade centering
on:
January 14, 2018, 12:06:37 PM
Hallo Swiss Army Knights,
my name is Marcel and i am from Germany so sorry for my english, but i will do my best. I am a big Fan of the Alox models an i have about 15 of them.
I have a question about the blade centering.
I have noticed that at some of my Alox models the blade touches the bottle opener respectively the scissors at the Pioneer X models. Is that the same with yours or is there something wrong with my lovely knives?
Greetings from Germany

A slight blade rub is not unusual for multiblade knives. As long as it doesn't interfer with the closing/opening of the knife or doesn't stop the blade/hit the blade's edge, I wouldn't be concerned. I've about 50 SAKs and many other multiple blade knives and a slight blade rub is not uncommon. Sounds like you have a nice collection. Welcome and guten tag.
Rich

Thank you very much for your quick and friendly response.
I am facilitated that a slight blade rub is not unusual.
I absolutely love SAKs especially the Alox models.
I wish you a nice evening
