Bespoke Tool challenges/badges also open to modded variants?

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered before...

I've been wondering. I've just seen a post in which the author has announced he'd consider doing the 30-day Rebar challenge, something which I could see me doing as well.

Now, if the only Rebar I possessed were a modified variant (the VX in my case), could I participate with it, or would this constitute cheating? Especially since I've made my Rebar that much more versatile, so a comparison with stock Rebars would not be entirely fair...  :think:

Or would the SUPER challenge be the (only) way to go for modded tools of all kinds?

Obi's original challenge thread was open to standard, knifeless and hacked Rebars - so I reckon the VX mod should be just fine.

The SUPER badge was for Supertool models - original, 200, 300 & included modded tools.  I suppose the description of the Rebar challenge award should be modified to include modifications.
