Day 22: Having squash and onions as part of my dinner tonight.  Pics show cutting the squash; onion came later.

(Image removed from quote.)

For some reason I feel the Rebar is more comfortable this way when doing repetitive slicing tasks.

(Image removed from quote.)

wowza! Never ever seen a yellow squash in person here, at any store. :o

Day 23: Enjoying a fine bottle of wine.  Opened with the Workmate.

Oh, wait, this is a Rebar Challenge..... :o

Had pizza and it was too hot  and the crust was droopy.  Cut into pieces with the Rebar.

Sorry about that.  Friday night, a friend with expensive red wine, carrying a Rebar AND a Workmate.  I was confused.

Looks like the Workmate was the star of the show, but you did get that Rebar in there.... Well done!  :tu:

Rebar probably was, I wasn't.  If I was stranded on a desert island and only had a bottle of wine and a Rebar, I think I could get it open.

Day 25: Went to the dump, wife filled up the truck with empty boxes.  Used Rebar to cut them up so we had more room.

Just took a picture of the first box.

Probably not. Afterall, you did post a pic of the Rebar's work.

But to play it safe, you might want to photoshop the Rebar into one of the pictures.....   Who would ever know?

Day 28: I was at a hardware store buying fasteners and they had to be the exact size.  I asked the salesman to measure them and he got out his tape measure.  I said in millimeters.  He said he would find someone with a metric tape measure and I said never mind and got out the Rebar; the salesman was dumbfounded.  I NEVER thought I would use the ruler.  No pics from the hardware store but here's one next to my wife's Valentines Day present.

It's odd how difficult it can be to find a metric ruler. I know we in the US don't have a metric standard, but, these days, metric measurements come up all the time!

Well done, Rebar. Again.

Yup. It's ... strange ... to see such a revolutionary country (successfully breaking free from British oppression and all, back in the day) still clinging to outmoded and incongruous units of measure...

(Oops - I'm blacklisted now :D)
Cheers!
