Pioneer as Rescue Tool?

I was wondering if the keyring attachment point that causes such a painful hotspot to so many users has ever been used as one of those tools to break a window in an automobile?

As easily as mine came off when I removed it, I’m going to have to say no. I think modern glass would probably just smash it.

But I have no direct experience so take this with a grain of salt...

Reduce tools for impact breaking of glass is usually of a carbide tip.
