I had a couple of those as a kid also. my favorite was the flying disc gun, not a keychain item, but shot these tiny 1/2" frisbie like discs(Image removed from quote.)
When I was a kid, I always had one of these on my key-chain. Then times change and I haven't seen any locally for a very long time. That is until today, when I decided to take a day trip to Wiki on Manitoulin Island. They have a neat dollar store on the reservation there, and I never know what I will find. Today, It was all about key-chain cap guns. I bought every model they had, which tallies up to 6 different models. The cylinder swings out on the two revolver models. On the Luger, Derringer, and what I think might be a Browning Hi-Power, the cap holder swings up for easy loading. The pirate gun is the simplest to load of all. I haven't seen any for years. I guess they just aren't politically correct these days. Just happy to be re-acquainted with them.
Wow this brings back memories Dan I remember these and the big ones with those red strips of caps ,we use to light them up with matches

I have also noticed toy soldiers having a bit of a come back these days. When I was a kid, I literally had armies of Japanese, British/Canadian, German, and American forces with support equipment...both in small and medium size. Then those disappeared from toy shelves until last year when they seem to have made a come back...at least in my neck of the woods.
