Why do I want to try those so bad? Never seen exploding pellets before.  :gimme:

+1

What's the difference between them? Green for zombies, red for regular targets?

Yeah, it is an absolute gem.  I haven't shot it as kuch as I'd like, but i do have a few rounds through it.  It is a bit large for my relatively small hands, as you can see in the pic!

I feel like a little kid playing with Dad's toy!

It's my favorite subject, but I don't have any friends I can talk to about guns. I have my own little collection that I don't tell my neighbors about. Lol. I don't want any bad rumors going around about me. I have a couple of shotguns, and just recently I was able to find Winchester W209 Shotgun primers. If you know the Winchester Primer, you are probably aware that most stores are out of ammo. Meticulously crafted from high quality materials, these primers go above and beyond the range for accurate shooting results. Ohhhh, I love it.

I'm glad this one came back up- it's been a great reminder that I need to add a few things to it!

I bought Megan a new Crosman rifle for Christmas, and she hates it despite it being exactly the same as the one we already have (which she loves), but with some "performance upgrades" that make it scary and unacceptable.  But, as this isn't the place to get political, I'll leave it at that. :P

I also picked up this little CO2 powered pistol.  I like it because it has a 20 BB magazine, which means you can get a lot of shots off in a very short amount of time!

It's a Crossman PFM16 and it's smaller frame fits my hand perfectly.  I really like this one as it feels like a natural extension of my hand, and I feel suave like James Bond or Sterling Archer with it!  :D

My father also gave me this old gem that had been sitting in his closet for a while- it's an old Daisy Powerline version of a Beretta .45.  I haven't fired it yet as I am sure it is going to need a seal kit due to its age and my certainty that the seals have never been replaced!

The neat thing about it (sorry for the terrible pics!) Is that it is one of the earlier versions of it that have the Beretta logo on it.  I don't know if it was ever licensed by Beretta, but at one point Beretta made Daisy remove the logo.

And, unlike the PFM16 where none of the things work (no slide, stationary hammer, all just mokded in for show), the Daisy has a hammer that can be cooked, allowing for a bit more realistic experience.  Unfortunately the Daisy's slide is stationary and the body is plastic, unlike the PFM16 where it is all metal, making it feel very authentic.

I really like them both and I am hoping to have an opportunity soon to fire them!

Thanks! This one is a 1943 with an Israeli replacement slide that probably was put on in the 50s or 60s IIRC. Maybe saw late WW2 action but could definitely have seen Korea/Vietnam and any conflict all the way up to early Desert Storm from what I can tell.

Nice. I have a 45 Colt and a .22LR one as well. There is just something sweet about the Single Action Army.

I like Western films. Grew up watching Bonanza and Gunsmoke. Naturally, that means you want to snag a SAA eventually 😂. The price tag is a little hard to swallow though, at least in the states.

Can't buy or sell any AR platform among others as well. I was sure it would be the death of IPSIC competitions as nobody new could join (if you don't have one, can't get one), but apparently there was a big uptick of folks joining pistol competitions now. Imagine that.  :D

Thats a lot of restriction. I wont comment further because I don’t know how to keep it apolitical.

What about things like the Ruger Mini 14 or the Keltec SU-16 or the Sig MCX Ranch Rifle? SKSes still allowed? M-14 clones?

I assume there isn’t a provision for concealed or open carry up there?  Even when in the wilderness for protection from dangerous animals?

We are Canadians.  If anything in the woods is more dangerous than us then we deserve to fall.

Most Canadians are required to kill a bear with nothing but our teeth before we are allowed to start school.

And yes, I have stayed out of this thread because of the truly dangerous and undefeatable threats out there- the Politician.
