The Victorinox Solo 108mm red nylon scaled Swiss Army knife
Best folding outdoors knife around. Very strong backspring (possibly the strongest SAK slipjoint I know). Being only one blade, it is easy to clean. I let my wife clean a trout with it, and I am vegetarian. Got the guts out with no difficulty. But dangerous for kids and those seriously unfamiliar with folders and strong backsprings.

I recently had a Trooper that I found and sold. And in the interim, I got to check it out.
I VERY much like the textured nylon scales. The blade length seemed great. I don't remember the backsprings being anything super strong, but I think my 93mm Farmer has extraordinarily strong backsprings for some reason, and the Trooper seemed about the same. Definitely sturdy, with no fear of it collapsing closed with use.

The 108 platform is great in it's own right!

I've got a 108mm Solo somewhere, though I'd be the first to admit I've never used it much. As a good sized pocket knife it's an excellent choice I'd say.

I had a couple and sold them, regrettably. I now had a couple single layer/blade Alox Pioneers.
I think they're 93mm.

I have a 108 solo that Nate (ducttapetech) kindly gifted me. I think it's a great knife, very light and nice blade length.
I put a bail and pocket hanger on mine
