Thank you! It's a Chen Duty I with custom Maple Burl handles and pins and a reshape of the heel of the handle to better accomodate caucausian hands.

I like to use this cheap and nasty John Nowill blade occasionally, to remind myself that until relatively recently, our species coped perfectly fine with a simple bit of carbon steel sandwiched between two bits of wood.

And it still works today.

:nothingtoadd: :D I've found that both are fantastic blades. Of the two, the Schrade looks like it could take more abuse than the BG, but I would have no problem taking either one into the woods for a trip

That SCHF36 is appealing to me more than most current Schrades. I might have to pick one of those up.

Have you ever given thought to offering your services and be paid for them? A lot of the things you make are really nice so maybe there are potential customers out there

Yes I didn't recognise it at first because it was covered in verdigris from the rivet. I'm leaving it there as it's not coming out easily and don't want to snap it.

Don't forget that leather journals/notebooks are a somewhat hot item right now (seriously even I want to get my paws on a few dozen to keep track of meetings and designs).
Also from what I understand, LARP has a good sized community in Britain so there might be a chance to expand your potential customer base
