My Boker A/F undressed. Thought I would play around with the weights. Took two or three attempts to put it back together  luckily there was only one pin to put in.

I am always curious and like to take things apart  however I've learned that while I am adept at it I am not so at getting things back together

Glad you were able to get it back together.  Were you just curious?

Yes just wanted to play around with the weights but it’s far too light without them.

Izula II on a well worn set of boots, sitting in the air conditioned decontamination trailer on SAR assignment. Somewhere to the tune of 18 hours in? Incident ended 6 hours later.

Great knives sak60.  The double edged blade has an interesting cant to the blade.  Being a double edge I would think it would be aligned bow to stern.  Awesome looking big time.

70’s v 90’s Buck119. ‘70’s on the left

440 v 420 hc
Blade grind
Much finer tip on the ‘70’s
Smaller pommel on ‘70’s

I  like the lines on that 70s Buck.  The blade is sexier IMO.  The fuller and what appears to be more of an upswept tip.  I dig the grind quite a bit too.  Both are super nice just a bit of a nod to the 70s one.

Not sure when the deep hollow ground blades started but I much prefer the older grind. My ‘70’s 110 has the same grind. There’s just the slightest hollowing in the centre of the blade then almost convexing from there towards the edge.
