Nice kit there, Mechanikal!  :tu: :like:

It appears to be based on the "military grade" handles, as they have the self opening clips/springs! But someone more knowledgeable will chime in clarifying soon.

Well ... after four years into oblivion, the 650 thread is back!!! :woohoo:
I know it can be impractical, that having to carry separate heads, and bit kit, and jigsaw blades, and whatnot can be too much to some BUT, it was one of "my grails". Found it at a good price, and not much work to be done (reposition springs; clean; hone knife; make needlenose pliers head). Came in the mail today and, 2 hours later, this is the result!

Now the quest begins for getting a sheath, fisherman's and cable cutting heads (and might make a replaceable cutters, needlenose head just for laughs)! :viking:

Congratulations Juan!  I love the concept.  That tool looks unused!

" And then there were three ... the Evolution Revolution!"
From my ever-increasing Gerber MP series collection, here is the current MP650 Evolution lineup: from left to right; Mil Spec or late civilian, early civilian, Mil Spec or late civilian.

Very nice Juan!  I think the 650 was such a neat concept.

Thank you Lisa. I hope so, as they're a neat, funky set to have and collect. Mind you, my EOD/DET head is a modified, regular one (as well as one of the regular, needle nose ones); in case that's one you need, it is easy to do.
