Challenge +2:

Still having fun with the Outrider. I'm starting to wonder if this could be my SAKMC knife. It is big, but it carries well.

(Image removed from quote.)

I'm leaning this way too Nix, in spite of its size it carries well in my pocket, actually more comfortable than the Fieldmaster and I like the tool set

Day 23:

Now we know the real reason the cat's hat is so tall. 111mm tall to be exact.

Like the new avatar, Stoneshank.  :like:

@ Greg: yes, it's got a really good tool set. I awlways thought I was a 91/93mm SAK guy, but this Outrider has got me thinking..... Today, I switched out the Outrider for a Rucksack to see if I'd notice or prefer the thinner profile. But, of course, now I don't have those handy scissors......

Challenge +4:

Carried the Rucksack today. At the last minute, I dropped the Ambassador in my other pocket, so that I might have some scissors with me. I didn't really appreciate a difference in carrying the Rucksack, as opposed to the Outrider. Used the Rucksack to sharpen a pencil in the grocery store, otherwise a quiet day. This day, just one of thousands, the nod still goes to the Outrider.

Maybe I'll run a Huntsman tomorrow.......

Day 28, was at a friend, making a leather pocket slip for my Vagabond

I'm not unhappy with the end result, considering this is the first time I did this!

The paint is now drying, hope to put it to use tomorrow!

My Trekker has been going to work with me lately. I used that awesome caplifter as a pry bar at a crash scene yesterday.  No worries about that beast not being up to the task.

The big cap-lifter on the Trekker is one of my favorite features of that SAK!

Hope everybody was OK, Barry. (Hey, are you LEO, Barry?)
