Great minds think alike!!
What? Eh? Try this one with dual density OD scales. Probably don't see that every day. (Image removed from quote.)John
The only thing, for me, that would make it better would be if it had a one handed blade. I’m thinking about swapping in a blade from a OHO Sentinel. I’m just nervous about tearing two SAKs apart. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Certainly no love for the Centurion from Victorinox - It's been withdrawn Although in practice it is still available under a new name - ..... The Adventurer

The Adventurer The differences between these two are just the scale colour and the reamer vs. awl/reamer, right?
.........Two handed opening is far, far from crippling! (And it makes the knife look sleeker and tidier, too!)
Nice thread.I keep returning to the OHT non-serrated as an EDC because I have an irrational obsession with the one handed opening mechanism... for some reason a lot of the time I want to use a sak one hand is otherwise occupied or filthy! Like others, I do not have much use for the saw... particularly now, I have little use at all for it. For those few moments where I do need a saw, I have a Huntsman Lite in rotation anyway (the more recent light in these is great; by the way).So a Centurion sits in the collection, and I would never part with it as it is a great model, but I tried it as an EDC for a few days and missed the one handed operation too much. I dream not for a single one handed Centurion/modern Adventurer... but two...

Well, today I have opted to carry my Centurion, but it’s in disguise...
My GAK skinned Centurion helping cut up dinner tonight at work...
