I expected Vic' to step up and do right.  A company dose not hang around as long or grow to the global stature of Victorinox if they don't take care of the customer  I just could never have expected this.  Realy goes to show how far honest comunication (not politicaly correct Bull Sh!7) will go.

I was following this topic from the beginning, and i must say that i was surprised from the first title. Somehow i knew that it will end up like this  .
I have very good experience with Victorinox customer service several times. Actually, I haven't seen better customer service. Their lifetime warranty is really great.
So far, i have more than 30 SAK's and my collection will keep on growing  :) . I'm glad that now you are "very happy with Vic"

Thanks everyone.  I started this thread because I too was surprised by the response from CS.  I had dealt with Vic CS in the past with excelent results. I wanted some feedback from all of you to be certain I was not overreacting.  Your support and coments have been greatly appreciated.

Yah, and the best is the old school SNAP on the Swisstool pouch.

Now and update,

I am amazed at what I just recieved Next Day Air FedEx.
Needless to say I'm in Swisstool heavan.
On top of all these shiny new Swisstools he is having the old ones sent back at no charge.  Maybe I'll try to mod them.

So now  I want to ask the Mods to change the title of this thread to

I WAS, not very happy with Vic'

Congratulations Douglas!  :like: :tu: :tu:

I am so glad to hear that they took care of you.

I am glad to hear that this worked out for you!  Victorinox customer service is usually pretty amazing and i was very surprised to hear there was a problem.

It is good that they are using this issue to fix their own internal issues too.   :tu:
