Just one question  - why would you put your MT on the table?
To test it's flatness for one.

that being the only reason I could think of

Out of the five I own, only one doesn't.  On the others it's only visible when you put them on a flat surface, you don't notice it when you're holding them in your hand.  Except on my BO Spirit X, this one is the worst ... (it also happens to be the "youngest" one I own).

But I comfort myself with the idea that maybe, just maybe, this is part of the design, since the Spirit has such a perfect fit and finish otherwise.  And it's not as if Victorinox can't make even handles, I also own Five Swisstools and none of these has any wobble whatsoever ...

And when you open them it's gone (they can still wobble a bit, but this is mostly due to the round unlock buttons it seems).

Well, that and its amazing ability to create 'discussion'.  :D

FWIW, I have nothing but love for the Spirit and would EDC one if I didn't have to be careful where I carried it in the UK. That's where my bladless 400 shines.  :salute:

Congrats TG.  I think in the spirit of MTO brotherhood we should all throw our Spirits in the creek.  Extra points to be awarded if you miss the guy holding the net in the pink kayak under the bridge, but are close enough to make him flinch.  >:D :pok:

I'm trying to live a list free life Santos. Try it, it's great!

There are so many reasons it's great:
1. No lists
2. Save money on paper and pencils
3. More freedom
4. Do things in whatever order you like
7. More playful
2. Don't have to remember stuff all the time
5. No lists.

That the MP400 lies completely flat on a table, without any sideways wobble.
Some Spirits can do this, but certainly not all.

Like Nick said, the MP400 sits flat on a flat surface, putting downward pressure on one of the handles will not affect the other handle, while putting downward pressure on one of the Spirit's handles under the same circumstances will make the other handle loose contact with the flat surface, switching between applying and releasing pressure will make the Spirit wobble ...
