That looks great! Do you use them? or is it stricky for collection?  What type of regular activity do you use them for?

The ones on display are mostly for collection.. I have another set that I use "regularly" .. Well, ladies can have shoes enough for a dozen centipedes.. We surely NEED tools for several dozen tasks...

You know...........  this has really got me thinking again.  You guys and gals display your tools in neat ways.  Mine are sitting in a bin next to my bed  :(.  I really need to put something together to display my tools.

Time to pour over thread about displays.

I don't have them exposed because they gather dust and humidity out there, but I want to be able to see them.

So I often use plastic boxes (for fishing, office stuff, etc.) to see through and spot them while keeping them away from moisture and dust particles
these are old pics but still do that today   :salute:

My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

SAKs: Bantam, Executive, Ambassador, Minichamp, Classic Alox, Champion, Farmer, Explorer, Swisschamp, Golf Tool, Wenger Champ, EVO 52, Pocket Tool Chest

I have been wanting to make some kind of barnwood/rough lumber type of shadow box for a few of my old school LM to hang on the wall

Just haven't got the materials together for it yet :salute:

Wow, a Gerber Balance!  I haven't seen one of those in a while!  That is one of the multitools that has eluded me so far, and you never see them come up for sale!

Glad to see it has a spot up front!  :D

Def

My hands on time with this is rather short. If only the pliers are spring load, it will make a excellent tool.

Thems fightin' werds!  :ahhh

No, not really, I just hate sprung pliers in a multitool, but to each their own!

I am ok with both.. If the cutters are those anvil or side cutters, I dun mind having them as usually my experience with sprung pliers, the pivot tends to be looser. So it doesn't matter much. Cross over types I would I wan a unsprung as they require the precision. Balance is another pinchy as well as the handles are very close together. It actually rather difficult to operate. Yes you are right. To each his/her/its own! Cheers!

Manage to get some cheap-ish by nice transparent plastic drawers.  :D

Finally found the time to tidy up the lower level.

Was able to stuffs most of the MT into the 3 levels. Well, most.. Can't exactly see some of them, but it looks alot neater..

1st level consist of mostly Gerbers, SOGs, and Vic. MP650 took the centre stage.  :D looks a bit weird for the space distribution for the pliers head, gotta sort that out later..

2nd level houses the all the Leathermans. Shifted all the wooden shelves here.

Last level holds all the hidden extras.  ;)
Those on the outside are the ones that I use regularly. Mostly with some form of modification.

That's not a blacktip. That a Paladin tool. Your black tip will be sitting right next to it when it arrive. I really have no idea which is bigger though. It already is monstrous compared to a regular powerlock. Later, I will have to decide who will play King or Queen..  ;)

The Mp600 is already an excellent tool by itself. Adding the spring makes me reach for it more than anything else. Try it on a MP400, it's a simple drop in. You will love it.
