Could someone please explain why I'm checking out a topic from two months ago about a Buck 112 while my tool budget is at an all time low ... ?

And why do these Bucks have to look soooo nice ...  :ahhh

As a kid I had a fake Buck (next to my fake SAK  ::)).  That fake SAK was the main reason why, for a long time, I used to think that SAKs were cr*p and the only real tool was a Leatherman, until I got myself a real SAK.  So I just know that it's going to be the same with a real Buck (those fake ones can really "damage" the reputation of a brand for people who don't know much about tools).

Anyway, don't mind me, I'm going to stay drooling here for a while  :drool:.

I thought about asking one of you guys in the U.S. to maybe help me get one straight from the U.S.  :-[. 

But then I found one (new) over here for 75 Euro ($83), so I figured after shipping, customs fee and import tax they would have to be very cheap in the U.S. to make it a better deal than the one I get when I buy one locally

So my plan is to set aside whatever I can and try to get enough "tool-budget" around Christmas to get myself a Buck for Christmas (which sounds like a true classic Christmas gift  ;)).

Great looking Rangers everybody!! I own 4, and really want one (or a 110) with a stag handle, but they are crazy expensive and way above what I would pay for a knife!!  :P   One day I may find one at  a decent price!!
