I recently asked to trade for a Dragonfly and this wonderful man messaged me telling me he had one.  Not only did he have one but the one I was really wanting.  Talk about being super stoked. 

Heres the thing tho.  He didn't want to trade????  He wanted to give it to me.   :ahhh.  Ok.......  but......... I have things to trade.  I'm not sure who this wonderful man is, tho you've seen all over the boards how generous he is. 

I told him I was thankful and asked if he fly fished.  I have flies I acquired yet no use for them.   Thankfully he does fly fish so I will be sending him these as I said I would.  I lag but I will get these out soon.   

Nix, thank you again for your generosity.  Its such a wonderful community we have here at MTO and I am proud to be a part of it.  You not only have been incredibly generous to me but others here on MTO and I'm certain many in your lifetime.  I hope these flies catch you something out in Montana.   

I am really enjoying the knife, I mean REALLY enjoying it.   Its by far my favorite which I have carried everyday since you gifted it to me.  It perfect sitting in my shirt pocket till I need it.   :salute:

ZDP takes a good strop to become wickedly sharp.  It came sharp but I couldn't leave well enough alone.  I've cut chicken, boxes, vinyl, plastic, duct tape, paracord, and a lot of other material with little effort.  Its still wicked sharp.

Aloha,  I'm stoked that the Dragonfly is working out for you. I think it's a great knife and great design. As I mentioned before, it's my wife's favorite--and she has stolen my last one!  :facepalm:

And don't worry, I'll make sure those flies get wet before I lose 'em in the sage or willows. I'll be sure to post up a pic of any fish caught with 'em, too.

Glad I was able to wrestle this away from my roommate.  She's a tough gal and gave one hell of a tussle.  Ok I begged her and may have whined a bit for her to give it to me  :whistle:.  I'm good with that tho.  Its a great knife.  I sure hope you catch something with them or have fun trying.  Theres more than 20 so between the sage and willow and whatever else you've got a few to fool with.

I enjoy carrying Spyderco.  Lot of knife for the money.  I have 3 that see regular carry.  2 are Delicas and a Native.  The addition of the Dragonfly was one that I've considered now for a long time.  Its a great size for what I was looking for, shirt pocket carry.  My others Spyderco knives see work day carry.
