This past week I got a pagage from the MTO store with a couple of things and one of them was an older climber with the old scissors. My first thought was to restore it, clean it up, give the blades some love, new scales and change the scissors for a new pair that has a rivet instead of a screw and a slot for the spring..
But before I take it apart I must ask of anyone might have an interest in an old climber of just the scissor layer for that matter. If not, I will try to restore it and use it or give it away.
For my need and interest I will restore it and change the scissors but if someone else is looking for an older climber send me a pm and we work something out I don't have the time or energy to start doing anything for at least the rest of the week.
