Belt Dump Pictures Please
on: February 11, 2018, 07:13:13 PM
I searched and found no dedicated thread to what and how we carry on the Belt?

I mainly EDC a Spirit and support stuff all of which is too bulky and inconvenient for my already EDC overloaded pockets so........

Over the years I have tried to find and combine the most practical set of tools for my work with the ideal Holster or Pouch for easy Belt Carry as I always wear a belt and well it is just a practical solution for a lot of us,Batman Wannabe or not!

So right now I carry this mostly and it is pretty much like it has been for a while now too, only something really great  can bump another tool out.

Skinth Spartan OGII? Discontinued for some reason?
Vic Spirit
Leatherman Bit Adapter Kit
Leatherman Extension
Pocket Wrench II
ThruNite T10nw
ET D25Cnw
Alox Cadet

Anyone else?

Good set up.
It reminds me of how I found MTo and my first post and badge that came with it.

Here's a few updated picks,  getting close to a year now and with the exception of the Spirit 30 day Challenge it's been on my belt virtually every day sense I got it.  Just happens to be the same day I made that first post.

We don’t really seem to have a “belt dump” thread that works the same way as the “pocket dump” thread, so good idea.

There are a number of interesting close matches though, might be interesting to look through them while continuing to post belt dumps in this thread.
No reason to limit yourself to one thread either. :D

This one is just for Skinths:
Skinth Loadout Thread!

And for homemade sheaths, not necessarily with stuff inside them:
Let me see your homemade sheaths!

There’s probably more interesting ones out there.

Still good to have this thread though, as it doesn’t seem to be limited to any kind of sheath or even belt pouch.
I can’t wait to see where it goes.

I tried carrying 24 SAKs on a belt a couple weeks ago. At slightly over 3.5 kg it was less uncomfortable than I thought it would be.

Usually though it´s my MiniChamp and +B Carver SW on the right, PX on the left. On some days (Sundays) I´ll add the SwissChamp.

Other SAKs and tools get carried in jeans/jacket/vest pockets, or in my backpack.

I don't carry anything on my belt. But I have sown a zipper along the inside of my belt and I keep a few spare 2€ coins and some cash in there. Also a few AAAA batteries, a diamond file and saw. On the outside it looks like completely normal belt. I don't have any pictures of the setup and no way of making some (smartphone is dead :D) but I think it is not too hard to imagine what it looks like...  :D

since I am also somebody who carries too much stuff (admittedly, but there's the fun and joy of using your toys and experimenting    :D), I ought to post here.
A nice belt and good sheaths are key, as well as distributing the weight between the two hips for ease of moving around and less strain on the back

I wear everything seen here on the belt so I rarely take pics of the whole EDC, but when I switch pants like today I can dump it all there in a group  :salute:
Contents of the sheath...

they change week to week and even day to day on some items, but the general scheme is very similar.  :tu:
This does not include pockets (where I have the main knife here, the wallet, phone and keychain

Tomorrow I'll post another dump as I'm changing pants for a special occasion today  :drink:

and soon the PX challenge will commence so I'll have to unload all the stuff the day before that   :ahhh
My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

SAKs: Bantam, Executive, Ambassador, Minichamp, Classic Alox, Champion, Farmer, Explorer, Swisschamp, Golf Tool, Wenger Champ, EVO 52, Pocket Tool Chest

I have always carried my MT on my belt in a sheath.  I used to use a niteize sheath and carry an assortment of items.  I've long since decided the sheath I carry on my belt would only contain MT and accessories.  I'd pocket the other items such as flashlight.

My sheath holds my TTi, bit kit, bit extender with pocket clip from pen, Pocket Wrench 2 and magnet.  I don't carry a full size MT on my belt for off days unless I feel I'll really need one.

Aloha beats me n minimalism, no doubt   :D

as I said yesterday I switched pants and gear for a single day, 'cause i wanted to try out some things before starting the PX Challenge which will limit what I can combine and carry a lot,  :ahhh

Wave and Spydie in pockets, other stuff on the belt in their respective sheaths

so the final big gear dump this month is a bit redundant,
but all be it for experimentation   :drink:
