Picked up an L66 today. The knife shows some serious patina, the leather handle is in nice condition. No letter designation and the L66 was stamped on the brass guard. Western U.S.A. tang stamp. I'll snap a photo later. It's a nice little fixed blade.

I did a wipe fo the knife and the brass guard looks great. The pommel as well came out really nice. I may take some 0000 steel wool to the blade then give it a sharpen and leave it be. The stacked leather will get cleaned and treated as well as the sheath.

Thanks. I got the edge up and used it yesturday while grilling some sausage. Sliced up some veggie's and the sausage ( sorry no pics ). Its a cutter thats for sure even with the edge not quite finely tuned. Love the feel in hand and the look is just gorgeous. Not sure why I haven't picked up one before
