A new page already - going well folks :tu:

Thanks for the great uses, stories and pics for Day 1

Onwards we go to...

Day 2

A little bit more strenuous exercise today.

The space between the corner piece and the straight in the frame on the whiteboard in my office has been bothering me for a while. I had salvaged it from the recent flurry of office moves and used Megalox to put it on my office wall, which went well but I was sloppy and .. well... that space bothered me. I think this must be a sign of the onset of OCD.

Not having the Megalox at hand, I managed to use the can opener on the PX to undo the Phillips, then after moving the corner piece of the frame down, drilled a pilot hole in the drywall through the other of the frame's holes using the 1st class awl, followed by reinserting and tightening the Phillips again. Repeat at top left corner. Done.

Word of caution though - the can opener tends to fold back when you apply too much pressure (ask me how I know). You can counter that by applying a little bit of side force in the correct direction while turning.

PS Don't tell building services, please...?

that Phillips is good enough but I agree that only for light duty tasks
on a similar fashion,

Day 2,
the blade was short for the job, but the sharpness of the fresh edge compensated that   :salute:

Your last remark resonates, somehow... I hope I won't be suffering bad dreams about being followed by a giant cauliflower...

I need to ever so slightly revise one statement in my post above. Of course the screw is a powerful high-tech Pozidriv, not a mere old-fashioned Phillips.
Doesn't matter though, not enough torque was needed to make a difference on how good (or bad) the can opener was at turning it  8)
Be that as it may, the can opener is definitely not made for high-torque use, that's for sure. (Dare I say I missed the inline Phillips on Megalox?).

Day 3

No exercise today, after yesterday's exertions. Also, I'll need time to think.

Just a glam shot in what I thought were going to be the last vestiges of snow in the front garden. I should have looked up at the sky... minutes after I took this the snow started coming down heavy...

Day 3,
there was use for two of my gear goodies today, the two AAAs I had on me  :climber:.

AAA light to find and retrieve our bag that the wing ripped off of our building (the bag is there for the birds) and had traveled some meters in away

and the AAA (Awesome Alox Awl) to install and create a stronger grabbing cord and attachment method

the blade was very sharp for cutting too

finally some coffee with the heroes to warm up after an accidented rescue mission in the cold

Day three was rather boring as far as knife and tool usage, so I grabbed a shot of it in the ice on the hood of my truck when I went out to pickup dinner.

Day 4

Glamour shot only again, today. The one below shows the PX, together with the recently named Cobalt Constructor (just for the shot), in the almost exactly same spot of my Day 3 pic. I'm glad somebody saw to it that I chose not to pursue a career in meteorology
