I was initially disappointed because Walmart went up on the price when I saw your post, but Amazon has them listed for $18.71, temporarily out of stock:

Not to hijack this thread, but Sears has a pretty good deal on a set of 8" & 10" Irwin GrooveLocks for $16.72.

Just want to post a follow-up on that Irwin set. Arrived today, and they're awesome.  :drool:

Really apparent quality boost over other similar/generic models. Definitely worth the price, which for some reason, went up two cents.  :think:

True, they may not be Knipex, but my level of workmanship isn't Knipex-standard, anyway, so... .

My Cobras arrived today and I was actually looking at Irwins but I wanted something pocket friendly so Cobras got the nod.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

I handled a pair of the 5", and they would be excellent pocket carry. A lot of power for something of this size. Regular pliers don't even come close.  :2tu:
