For a long time I thought these blades are impractical with limited use until recently, I can't believe it took me this long to discover the power of Hawkbill.

They are great at everything, open boxes, envelopes packages, cut rope cord, peel apple, etc.
can do everything a normal blade could but better, except when using on a cutting board.
The sharp tip penetrates material with ease then the curve blade draws material onto the edge, the even-changing angle of edge just slide through whatever in its path.

mass cutting power in a small package!

I think most people worry about sharpening the blade.

You can use a ceramic, round/small rod for this.

An interesting thing I noticed, they still cut like crazy even when they are not very sharp.

I've long been a fan of the Victorinox pruner blade. The 1970's Original Outdoorsman is essentially a Ranger, but improved with a serrated main blade and pruner secondary blade. At some point, I will be making similar improvements to a Cybertool model
