Nice job. I'm still trying to develop my skill set here. (Do Brits really become 'worried' at the sight of a folded knife in a sheath? At a campground? That seems so bizarre to me. Here, everyone walks around with a folder clipped in his or her pocket (80%), folder/multi in a belt sheath (15%), or a fixed blade in a belt sheath (5%). Having a knife is just considered 'normal', and people will probably think you are a bit odd if you don't have a knife. It saddens me to think that people have become so fearful that seeing another person carrying a knife is a cause for concern. Reconsider the neck sheath idea--it stays well out of sight. )
Nice one Zed! It's a really great knife. I deeply regret swapping my Izula II Have fun with it!
Well the Esee izula just came through the door, first impressions ,smaller than I though but of a handy size, discreet for UK outdoor pursuit carry ,I'm a fan of 1095 ,I can see this being part of my future camping kit ,now to test it out
Zed, are you a Zippo lighter fan?
Nix I had a brass Zippo years ago, sadly lost it back in the 90's ,Great lighters and classic looking

It's seen some pocket/pack time, but it's still in nice shape. (Spare flint in the base, too!)
I used an Izula in a little 'emergency bag', too.Idea: store a needle and thread in the base of the Zippo. Never know when a needle may come in handy.

If you're going to strip it I'd love to see some pics of the process and outcome
