Lets say someone here is interested in an Sightseeing Tour by Rail what is the intention to book?
What does people want see / do?  :think:
Pls help me a little bit understand what people around the Globe think about that Topic.  :drool:

For the scenery and little towns and the history that you can't see from the air or from the highway, and someone else doing the driving and serving gourmet food along the way.  I always wanted to take a trip on the Orient Express or Trans Canada or similar cross country train trip.  Might have to wait a few years for retirement though. :cheers:

There's a very nice train ride from Denver to Salt Lake City, through Glenwood Canyon and along the Colorado River. Some of the Swiss train rides are supposed to be spectacular.

Pluses: Someone else does the driving. See scenery you might not otherwise see.

Minuses: Pricey. Lack of flexibility.
