It's not that it's a BAD injury. It's how I GOT it...



So... how did I manage to split my thumb open if I WASN'T messing with a multitool?

Fajitas. Yeah. We got take-out mexican food, and I slit my thumb on the tinfoil container the fajita meat came in. Bled for a few minutes.

I can only say, in my defense, the tinfoil didn't lock up very securely. So...  :facepalm:

They said those tinfoil mts had lockup issues. Should have read the reviews :pok: :D

There is just no end to dead objects that with some klutzative misuse can hurt you. That is my excuse, and I'll use this thread as supportive evidence next time. (And I'm sure I'll have a next time too).

Insist on all paper edges being torn, not cut, to avoid sharp edges. This will cause extra paper dust, which will require paper to always have sealed packaging to protect people with breathing problems. This will again require more paper. Isn't capitalism great?  :rofl:

I once opened some canned stuff and just not thinking I grabbed around the lid to break it upwards. Ended up cutting the tendon side of 4 fingers at once.

I was on a small island at the time, so I just wrapped them up like a red mummy. It was on the tendon side but the tendons themselves were ok. I guess I jerked or twisted the can when I finally noticed that I was cutting my fingers, and thus cut even more that way.

Anyway, just somewhat of a mess all around. I've done worse! :D
