Must ... not ... look ... at ... Bark ... River ... Knives ...  :dwts:

 :ahhh

I have absolutely nu use whatsoever for a knife that size (even my Garberg is serious overkill for my needs), but those Bark River knives are just so d*mn pretty .

Great looking knife mate, and indeed a great start for this club  :salute:.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news.......Bark River makes smaller knives, too....

This is probably my oldest Bark River, the Micro Canadian. It's a first production run of this model, so that should date it pretty well. It usually gets carried in a pocket sheath and has proved to be incredibly useful (you know, the best knife is the one you have with you.). EDIT: Micro Canadian was introduced in 2004.

Couple more pics to show size. I'll try and get some more once the light is better.

Look carefully at the second pic to see a patina starting to develop

Love that Hunter Gunny, sak60! I think the Gunny, and it's variants, is one of Bark River's best designs.   :tu: :like:

Here another one that is winning me over: Matterhorn

Thin blade and hidden tang keeps the Matterhorn light and lively in the hand. Great little knife for hiking, and I've carried it on some days out hunting (although haven't required it's services); it carries really well.

That's a beauty, clown.

Those blue scale are really nice.  :tu:  I see it's a 'proto'. Prototype of what? Mini-Seax ? Carver? BRK has a few Wharnie's in their line, but the one you posted here is a gem!
