Rinsed in hot water and dish washing liquid to get rid of the sticky stuff.
Next I'll go over everything with some old sandpaper.
Then straighten out all the bent parts.
Sharpen the scissors.
Put it back together and loctite it.
Apply some nano-oil.
Bag it up and send it off.

The guy is Paul Hollywood, famous chef and car guy.  I don't know who the woman is.

And I have to say, I am more interested in the Micra rebuild.  I've always found the spring and pawls on the scissors to be a very elegant and brilliant design.
