Enlan Sanrenmu
on: March 03, 2018, 12:50:28 PM
I bought a couple of Enlan and Sanrenmy knives on Ebay just to try it out since it seemed to get good reviews for its price. Well, don't buy them, the steel is garbage. After opening one package I had to restrop it again  :D :D :D
Well, that was wasted money. At least I quenched my curiosity  :D :D :D :D

Can't speak to the steel on an Enlan but Sanrenmu make a great knife. The steel on my SRM 9104 Land holds a great edge.

I don't have any Enlan, but quite a few Sanrenmu. My experiences are good - hence quite a few.

I don't know what their unmarked steel is (guessing 4xx something or comparable Chinese version), but they also use higher grades. Their SAK blades with Sandvik 12C27 steel is certainly sharper than most SAKs.

Yes, no issues with Sanrenmu steel, or Land steel here. I have used a few for several years and gave many as presents

I do not remember if Enlan or Bee are made by the same company that makes Sanrenmu.

when you say you opened one package, was it with one specific knife or, did you open one with each knife?

You may have been unlucky with one specific knife.
