Despite appearances, I've never actually changed scales myself. Usually the spa did it when I sent some for repair and I considered doing it on my ct34 but decided to keep its historical scales on. I'm hoping to be able to make my first mod this year but here's my first step at messing with factory Vics.

I accidentally purchased 2 Jetsetter (aka Jetsetter 3). [The Geneva flagship store didn't know it existed, told me they would order it when I showed it to them in the catalogue, later told me they can't have it so I ordered one online one and forgot about it. I went back to the store another day and they told me that they actually received some because it has to be in their new display wall... So I bought one.. And received the other one a few days later]
Figured I would change the scales on one of them and I got some 58mm pen-tool sapphire and hunter green scales yesterday.

So here's my first scale changing:

First the haul from the store (CHF 3.-)

The patient ready to be operated on:

Doctor Hercules before putting his tools back for sterilisation and the sedated patient in the middle of the transplantation. Front scale came out unscathed but the back got a little crack in the toothpick hole.

Messed around a bit with different combinations but settled with front hunter green and back sapphire with pen. This is before the scales are set.

And after:
