I got this email the other day that I thought I would share with you:

Well, for that member and all of those with mouths of meal, I'd like to introduce you to this:



Yup, it's the brass scaled Compact that we tried to give away last November but apparently no one wanted.  Ordinarily I wouldn't try to foist something off on you wonderful people that had been rejected by not one, but TWO prior winners, but, well, recycling is good for the environment.  Plus we wouldn't want Bob to feel too bad, so we might as well let it go around again!



No I know it's kind of funny looking, but try to keep the rude comments to yourself, as Bob really tries and I think we need to show him some support- I mean it.  He's really proud of this one.  Here's what he had to say about it:

See what I mean?  I know no one needs another awful macaroni picture on the fridge, but I'd appreciate it if you all would play along and act like it is actually one of the most amazing custom knives you have ever seen.  You can show your interest in the normal way, by donating at least $10 USD to the Forum Operational Fund by the end of the month. 



Bob even milled out slots for the tweezers.  You just can't put a price tag on someone trying that hard.



Let's make sure that Bob feels like he does exceptionally top notch work by showing some love for this poor ugly knife.  And, if you win it, I'll even give you your ten bucks back and you can just send it to me so you won't have to look at it!   :pok:



If, by some miracle we get to the total of $275 by midnight (Forum Offset Time of course) on March 15th I will add an Early Bird Draw for an additional prize- and whoever wins the Early Bird Draw is of course still eligible to win Bob's knife, so don't think you are getting off that easily.  If we don't hit the goal, well, I totally understand, but I'll also be very disappointed in all of you, because Bob is a fragile little flower and we really should be nicer to him.

I felt sooo sad not having donated back then since I LOVE the compact and I still don't have a custom SAK.
