English and proud  :salute:
Someone has to be :D

ARTHUR:
How do you do, good lady? I am Arthur, King of the Britons. Who's castle is that?

WOMAN:
King of the who?

ARTHUR:
The Britons.

WOMAN:
Who are the Britons?

ARTHUR:
Well, we all are. We are all Britons, and I am your king.

WOMAN:
I didn't know we had a king. I thought we were an autonomous collective.

DENNIS:
You're fooling yourself. We're living in a dictatorship: a self-perpetuating autocracy in which the working classes--

WOMAN:
Oh, there you go bringing class into it again.

DENNIS:
That's what it's all about. If only people would hear of--

I'm sure there's something in the amount of time it takes for a thread to turn to Monty Python References.

What ?!?  Did I derail the little choo-choo off of it's clear path of jingoistic xenophobia?   Oh, wait ...  what was the OP's thread about?

. . .the amount of time it takes for a thread to turn to Monty Python References.

Trick question, right?  It's a lot easier if you adopt the zen approach [as I have] -- and just know EVERY THREAD is a Monty Python reference.

Besides, we all know Def is The King.  (But not just only of the "Britons" . . .)
