Actually excited the gen shop I got my Smith at carries emerson. Found 6 diff models there and really thinking that the prices cannot be beat! I think I will get my first waved 7 this weekend 130$ out the door. Or maybe try the kerambit!!!

The mini7 is a great EDC, I'm loving it right now.

Really smooth action, and it cut my burrito nicely, but I'm not sure if I like it as well as the Razel.  :think:

The Strider AR is such a great knife! You have to hold one to really appreciate it.  :tu:

Curious, what did you NOT like about the Captain?  I'm curious if I'm seeing the same things...

I think the main reason I didn't like it is because the front 20% of the blade was simply too thick. It wasn't a bad knife, just not something I would really edc.  :tu:

Not the most glamorous of knives but has a nice solid heft to it.  The added bonus it the fact it's UK EDC legal.  :)

It's a CRKT Edgie, bought form the ever excellent HH.  There's even a review of it on some silly tool site. ::)

Joking aside, and keeping in mind I only just got it, the self sharpener seems to work OK.  It's obviously quite a 'toothy' edge but I quite like that sometimes.  Also due to the fact it has a backspring to overcome it's quite tight to open OH, but still do-able.
