I've been looking forward to this knife, and I was chomping at the bit to get one. Let me tell you, that it did not disappoint! The handle material is actually Grivory, which according to CS is much stronger than Zytel. So far I haven't had any issues deploying from my pocket, comes out super smooth.  :tu:

I grabbed this one off of Amazon and paid under $50 for it. That included expedited shipping!

Yes very similar in shape and form to the toothpicks.  I like variety in carry and I hadn't
carried this one in quite awhile.

I picked up an old Laguiole today.  The Chap I purchased it off of figures he's had it around
30 years or so, got it from a Pawn Shop near as he can remember.  Anyhow, it's in pretty
good shape, needed a new bevel, some oil, a bit of a cleaning, and here I took a
few pictures of it.
It has 440 steel, and was made in France.  I'm sure it wasn't all that expensive new or
anything of value, and I might have paid a bit too much for it, but I'm going to carrying it
around for awhile and put it to use.  :)

The top one looks around 3 inches, the bottom one half an inch more... I will post some more data when I get home, in a few days.

that could very well be the case, however there are a number of knives of this style coming
from Asia and it has the look that perhaps it's not from France.  :)

It says Klaas Messer stainless on the other side
possibly the same klaas that makes kissing crane knives.
It is a pretty decent made knife.
I will post some better pictures in the near future

As promised:

The seller described it as the French knife (in Budapest) then said that he did not believe it was actually french made (did not talk much).

Regardless, it's a very nice looking knife, thanks for the pictures.  I think that
is probably Solingen steel and probably out of Germany.  At least that is what
his other knives I've seen/googled are from. :tu:  Looks like a quality piece.
