I will probably grab the Griffon next. Interesting in China they say it comes in 9CR that has a slight increase in edge retention over 8CR. But ours are printed 8.

I wonder if it's 240 per model or 240 in total?
My Kestrel is 148; Harrier is 46

Griffon is worthwhile for sure, noticed about the steel mix up, but hey......  :D

Are you seriously telling me there's variation in the numbers????
I was sure they meant 235 of 240000

 :twak: for GG!

Just ordered an EL02

....and soon there were seven  >:D
I felt a bit better after checking 3 examples in another shop and they all had the rough spot just before it closes.
Good news is mine is already smoother.

Griffon and Goshawk have the best ergos, Harrier is the smoothest.
Nothing wrong with the Kestrel (flipper) either  8)

If only someone told you that before you bought a Zytel product..   :( :( :(

Actually, Case quality is not always that brilliant, even with their regular products. BF has various threads about issues with Case products. You do pay for the made in USA mark too.

You did warn me :tu:

On the up side,it'll be a good working knife, and it was about half what you'd normally pay for a Case Stockman

Got a gift from the other side of the world, thanks Peter

Not every knife is a tool, unless you mean a tool of war. Designed after the Applegate–Fairbairn fighting knife... Now I have to put more effort into my knife fighting training :P

This knife opens very quickly with a combined flick of the wrist and a small push of the thumb. It also features a lock lock. No, that is not a typo it has a lock that locks the lock :tu:
