Day 66:

Victorinox Executive in blue Alox and the bloody thing says ASS. Just love it although I have no hope of finding out where that came out of :D
(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)

Love it  :D i have seen that in Italy, to mean Association. i always have a little giggle to myself when i see it, almost as much fun as the "Farts Dempere" road signs you see in Norway.
Really like that green Wenger, i would be tempted to get the sand paper out..but im not sure if logo removal is as easy on Trans as it is on Cellidor  ???
Nice Spartan!

I think you might want to put a drop of oil on that bike before the next Tour De France...
There is no excuse for me now  :salute:

Day 67:

Victorinox Escort 74mm in gorgeous teal Alox with an OF branding... Looks like electric lines or telephone posts?

If someone feels like doing the research on what that is exactly I would welcome it. I'm sorry about the smurfy pics too... Not really feeling it as today most of my childhood belongings went up in flames... My mom's building's attic burned completely... Hopefully the apartment is OK but there might be extensive water damage... My coin collection is gone... Among many other things...

Horrible news, Syem, I hope everyone is all right. Often the water used to put out the fire causes more damage than the fire itself... but I'd rather lose things than life!
This isn't going to cheer you up but here's another two layer Wenger basking in the sunshine - which didn't last long as the day has turned grim and grey.

Thanks for your messages!

Everyone was safely evacuated and it seems all the pets were saved too. My mom is actually away for the week and we managed to get a firefighter to save her cat. No apartment burned, just the attics but it's quite a big building covering 4 door numbers.
Water damage is our main concern at this point as we haven't been allowed back in yet.

I am terribly sorry   and hope you can recover as most of your stuff as possible.
it's a real bummer when something like this happens but nobody can foresee these things.

Luckily no one was harmed or lost something even more valuable in that fire.
Hope the best for you, and my best vibes are sent your way   :salute:

It is indeed  :tu: i don't even drink the stuff but had to have it, for a while they were giving it away free if you bought a coffee machine but i thought it was a bit risky as i have never tried it, will stick to my own coffee brand for now

Yes, the whole coffee capsule idea is totally bonkers and unnecessary as far as I can tell. I had a capsule machine in a hotel room recently - it was better than no coffee at all, I suppose, but pretty terrible.
Nice SAKs though!

This used to be a French Spartan - with the French drapeau on the scale where the Nite Ize clip is now. However, I decided to put the French bit onto a Mountaineer, thus making a French Mountaineer. The clip was an OK idea on the Mountaineer but on a Spartan it's a bit ridiculous, almost doubling the width. I'll probably tear those boring white scales off one day and replace them with something less bland.

Day 68:

Victorinox Ambassador with Stainless steel scales.
Hans Kohler AG on the blade. They sell aluminum sheets, steel fittings, clamps and railings.

Sorry for the late posting... It's really not my week... Had a small accident and hurt my back and neck yesterday while carrying this Ambassador. Maybe I'm not cut-out for diplomatic security detail.

Gorgeous pic Borg! The flat is almost intact... Just some minor paint damage due to the water they used to kill the fire. Most of my childhood stuff in the attic went up in flames but I was able to salvage my whole coin collection and a few other childhood mementos.

Nice one Syem. How many distinct guilloché patterns do you have?

That's a tough question... I'll have to bring them all out at once and sort them to know. I'm missing a smooth SS one, that I know for sure!

Day 69

Victorinox Accountant with stainless steel scales. There's a funny +GF+ on the blade but I don't know what it stands for. I made that origami lily with a square I cut out of a disposable restaurant placemat. Used the small blade for that.

This is the simplest Wenger ever made (well, nearly.) Just a blade and a combo tool on one layer. Everyone should have one!
These disgusting lumps of whipped sucrotic lard, on the other hand, are probably best avoided. Easter is approaching, what can I say...

Obviously their Feinstahl wasn't Fein enough!

Here's my effort for the day. Begins with P and ends with R.
An interesting colour at least - I thought it was rose but I think that's pinker. This one is from the Schweizer Messer Shop.
